Description
A healthy and satisfying snack made from thinly sliced apples cooked until crispy in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 🍏 Apples: 2 large (sweet varieties like Fuji or Honeycrisp)
- 🍋 Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon (freshly squeezed)
- 🧂 Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- 🍬 Sugar: 1 tablespoon (optional)
Instructions
- Select sweet apples like Fuji or Honeycrisp.
- Wash and dry the apples, then slice them into thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
- Toss the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning, then mix cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the slices.
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°F (70°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the chips and cool on a wire rack before storing in an airtight container.
