A crispy and flavorful blooming onion made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 large sweet onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Peel the onion and cut off the top.
- Slice the onion into 12-16 sections, leaving the root intact.
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs and milk in another bowl.
- Coat the onion in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat again in flour.
- Place the onion in the air fryer basket and spray with cooking oil.
- Air fry at 375°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Use a sharp knife for even cuts.
- Adjust cooking time based on onion size.
