Description

Crispy and spicy buffalo chicken wings made in an air fryer. Quick, easy, and perfect for game day or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Toss the wings in the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 12 minutes until crispy.
  7. Mix buffalo sauce and melted butter, then toss the cooked wings in the sauce.
  8. Serve hot with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer—cook in batches if needed.
  • For extra crispy wings, let them sit uncovered in the fridge for 1 hour before cooking.
  • Adjust the sauce spiciness by adding more or less butter.
