Crispy and flavorful Caribbean-inspired wings cooked in an air fryer with a hint of rum for a unique twist.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup Caribbean rum
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix rum, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, allspice, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss marinated wings with vegetable oil.
- Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes or until crispy and fully cooked.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Marinate wings overnight for deeper flavor.
- Adjust cayenne pepper to control spiciness.
- Serve with lime wedges and fresh herbs.
