Description

A quick and easy air fryer version of the classic chicken cordon bleu with crispy breaded chicken, ham, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten the chicken fillets with a meat mallet to an even thickness.
  3. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on each chicken fillet.
  5. Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Dip each roll in beaten egg, then coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  7. Place in the air fryer basket, drizzle with olive oil, and cook for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway.
  8. Remove toothpicks, let rest for 2 minutes, then serve.
