Description
A quick and easy air fryer version of the classic chicken cordon bleu with crispy breaded chicken, ham, and melted cheese.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 slices of ham
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten the chicken fillets with a meat mallet to an even thickness.
- Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on each chicken fillet.
- Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Dip each roll in beaten egg, then coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
- Place in the air fryer basket, drizzle with olive oil, and cook for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Remove toothpicks, let rest for 2 minutes, then serve.
Notes
- Use thin-cut chicken fillets for faster cooking.
- Substitute mozzarella or provolone if Swiss cheese is unavailable.
- Check internal temperature—chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Spraying with cooking oil ensures extra crispiness.
