Ingredients

  • 🧄 Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Select the right potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold).
  2. Cut the potatoes into uniform sticks, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and pat the potatoes dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Toss the dried potato sticks in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for about 5 minutes.
  7. Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Check for doneness; they should be golden-brown and crispy. Cook longer if needed in 2-3 minute increments.
