A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring chicken fillets stuffed with a creamy jalapeño popper filling, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut a pocket into each chicken fillet and stuff with the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Secure the openings with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Dip each stuffed chicken fillet in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Lightly brush or spray the chicken with olive oil.
  7. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
