Description

Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, these air fryer mac and cheese balls are a fun twist on a classic comfort food. Perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cooked macaroni, shredded cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to firm up.
  3. Shape into small balls using your hands.
  4. Whisk the egg in a bowl and dip each ball into it.
  5. Coat the balls with breadcrumbs.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with butter.
  8. Place the balls in the basket, leaving space between them.
  9. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.
