Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken breasts – 2 large (about 500g)
- 🧀 Grated Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup (about 50g)
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – 1/2 cup (about 50g)
- 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🌶️ Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- 🛢️ Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- 🧂 Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- 🧂 Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a shallow bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts and coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) before removing from the air fryer.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For even cooking, consider slicing thick chicken breasts in half horizontally.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is fully cooked.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
- For gluten-free, substitute regular breadcrumbs with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
