- 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken fillets in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the chicken fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken, add pineapple chunks, and cook for another 8-10 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken (165°F/75°C).
- Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brush with extra teriyaki sauce before serving.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken.
- Use fresh pineapple for a brighter taste.
