Ingredients
- 🍖 Bone-in pork chops – 4 pieces (about 1 inch thick)
- 🛢️ Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🌶️ Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- 🧂 Salt – 1 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🧂 Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme) – for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check the internal temperature of the pork chops to ensure they reach 145°F (63°C). Let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Using bone-in pork chops enhances flavor and juiciness.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the pork chops.
