Ingredients

  • 🧄 Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • 🧄 Ginger: 1 tablespoon, freshly grated
  • 🌱 Sesame Seeds: 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
  • 🌿 Green Onions: 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • 🧂 Salt: to taste
  • 🧂 Pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by combining teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a mixing bowl. Coat the chicken in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade, season with salt and pepper, and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Prepare extra teriyaki sauce in a small saucepan over low heat while the chicken cooks.
  5. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice and drizzle with warm teriyaki sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
