Ingredients
- 🦃 Ground turkey – 1 lb (450 g)
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – 1/2 cup (60 g)
- 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🧅 Onion powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🧂 Salt – 1 teaspoon
- 🌶️ Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- 🛢️ Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (for brushing)
- 🍔 Burger buns – 4 (whole wheat or regular)
- 🥬 Lettuce – 4 leaves (romaine or iceberg)
- 🍅 Tomato – 1 large, sliced
- 🥑 Avocado – 1, sliced
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Shape the mixture into four equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Brush each patty with olive oil on both sides and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the patties rest for a minute before serving.
