- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in amaretto and vanilla extract. Fold in sour cream.
- Pour filling over crust. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set.
- Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother texture.
- Chill the cheesecake longer for better slicing.
- Top with almond slices or whipped cream if desired.
