Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F (110°C).
  2. Wash and thinly slice the apples (about 1/8 inch thick). Remove seeds if desired.
  3. Toss the apple slices in lemon juice to prevent browning (optional).
  4. Arrange the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon if desired.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, then flip the slices and bake for another 1-1.5 hours until crisp.
  7. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
