Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Baked Chicken Parmesan dish with crispy breaded chicken topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Place chicken in a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese melts and chicken is fully cooked.
