Description

A quick and flavorful beef and chicken stir fry recipe that combines tender meats and vibrant vegetables in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • Beef strips: 250 grams (about 8 oz)
  • Chicken breast: 250 grams (about 8 oz), sliced into thin strips
  • Bell peppers: 1 cup, sliced
  • Broccoli: 1 cup, cut into small florets
  • Soy sauce: 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tablespoon, minced or grated
  • Sesame oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions: 2, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef and chicken into thin strips, washing and slicing the bell peppers, cutting the broccoli into small florets, and mincing the garlic and ginger.
  2. Marinate the beef and chicken in a mixing bowl with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the marinated beef and chicken, stir-frying for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Remove the cooked meat from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil and toss in the broccoli and bell peppers, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked beef and chicken to the skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • Ensure not to overcrowd the pan while cooking to avoid steaming.
  • Use a good quality soy sauce for the best flavor.
  • Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference.
  • Marinating the meat enhances the flavor significantly.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.
