- 2 mahi mahi fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Coat both sides of the mahi mahi fillets with the spice blend.
- Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Add the fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until blackened.
- Brush with melted butter while cooking.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
