- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet to high heat.
- Rub the steak with olive oil and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust time for your preferred doneness.
- Add minced garlic and butter to the pan during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Let the steak rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste if you prefer more or less spice.
- Use a meat thermometer for precise doneness: 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium.
