Ingredients

- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup (50g) crushed candy canes
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in a double boiler until smooth.
- Stir in peppermint extract and powdered sugar if using.
- Chill the mixture for 1 hour or until firm enough to scoop.
- Roll into small balls and coat with crushed candy canes.
- Refrigerate for another 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- For a smoother texture, use a food processor to crush the candy canes finely.
