A simple and delicious caprese chicken recipe made in the air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Rub chicken fillets with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried basil.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
- Flip chicken and top each fillet with tomato and mozzarella slices.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on chicken thickness.
- Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables.
