Ingredients
- Ground beef – 1 lb (450 g)
- Frozen French fries – 1 bag (about 32 oz or 900 g)
- Cheddar cheese – 2 cups, shredded (about 200 g)
- Onion – 1 medium, diced
- Pickles – 1/2 cup, chopped
- Ketchup – 1/2 cup (for drizzling)
- Mustard – 2 tablespoons (for drizzling)
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté diced onion until translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
- Layer frozen French fries evenly on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the fries.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
