A comforting and cheesy baked pasta dish with ziti, marinara sauce, and plenty of melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked ziti with marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, basil, salt, and black pepper.
- Transfer half of the pasta mixture to a baking dish, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Add the remaining pasta mixture and top with the rest of the cheeses.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage.
- Fresh basil can be used as a garnish.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
