- 1.5 lbs Chicken Breasts (about 4 pieces)
- 6 oz Stuffing Mix
- 1 cup (240 ml) Chicken Broth
- 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
- 2 cups Mixed Vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup (about 100 g) Shredded Cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Dried Herbs (Optional, like thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts, then season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the stuffing mix, chicken broth, and cream of chicken soup until well mixed.
- Spread mixed vegetables evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts on top of the vegetables.
- Pour the stuffing mixture over the chicken, spreading it evenly.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is golden and the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
