  • 🥛 Heavy Cream: 1 cup (240 ml)
  • 🌿 Fresh Thyme: 1 teaspoon (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 🧂 Salt: to taste
  • 🧂 Pepper: to taste
  • 🛢️ Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by washing the chicken, chopping onions, mincing garlic, and slicing mushrooms.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms for 5-6 minutes until tender.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, add thyme, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, drenching the chicken in the creamy sauce.
