Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the flank steak with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- For the salsa, combine avocado, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt in a bowl.
- Serve sliced steak topped with avocado salsa.
