  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat the flank steak with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. For the salsa, combine avocado, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt in a bowl.
  7. Serve sliced steak topped with avocado salsa.
