Description

Chocolate chip cookie dough truffles are bite-sized treats made with edible cookie dough, dipped in chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (for dipping)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother dipping)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  2. Mix in vanilla and condensed milk.
  3. Gradually add flour until fully combined.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  7. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using).
  8. Dip each dough ball into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  9. Place back on baking sheet and let chocolate set.
  10. Store in the refrigerator.

  • Use heat-treated flour for safety.
  • Add a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter.
