  • Homemade pie crust: flour, butter, salt, and water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by shredding or dicing cooked chicken or poaching fresh chicken breasts.
  2. Make the filling by sautéing onions and garlic, then adding carrots and potatoes, followed by chicken, peas, broth, cream, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare the pie crust by rolling out store-bought or making your own dough.
  4. Assemble the pot pie by pouring the filling into the crust and covering it with a second crust if desired.
