- Strong brewed coffee: 100 ml (about ⅓ cup), cooled
- Walnuts: 100 g (1 cup), chopped
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar: 150 g (1 ½ cups)
- Milk: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare your cake pans.
- Sift together the all-purpose flour and baking powder in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened unsalted butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the cooled coffee and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts gently.
