A simple and delicious classic grilled cheese sandwich with crispy golden bread and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, buttered side down, on the skillet.
- Add the cheese slices on top of the bread.
- Cover with the second bread slice, buttered side up.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- Use room-temperature butter for easier spreading.
- Experiment with different cheeses like gouda or mozzarella.
- For extra crispiness, cook on slightly lower heat.
