- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix coconut, sugar, egg whites, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For chocolate-dipped macaroons, melt dark chocolate and dip cooled cookies halfway.
