Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the pan.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, oregano, and thyme. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the creamy sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a little more chicken broth.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
