- 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened.
- Add cheddar and Gruyère cheese, stirring until melted.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Fold in cooked macaroni and lobster meat.
- Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
