- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and buttermilk.
- Dip chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then coat with flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Fry chicken pieces for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165Β°F (75Β°C).
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes after frying for crispier skin.
