- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For softer cookies, slightly underbake them.
- You can freeze the dough for up to 3 months.
