Ingredients
- 🍫 Dark chocolate – 200 grams (about 7 oz)
- 🌰 Pistachio kunefe filling – 100 grams (about 3.5 oz)
- 🌰 Crushed pistachios – 50 grams (about 1.75 oz)
- 🍫 Cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons
- 🥥 Coconut flakes – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl.
- Set the bowl over a pot of simmering water to create a double boiler and melt the chocolate, stirring occasionally.
- While the chocolate melts, prepare the pistachio filling by stirring it and adding optional honey or rose water.
- Once the chocolate is melted and slightly cooled, scoop a small amount and roll it into a ball, making an indentation in the center.
- Fill the indentation with the pistachio filling and encase it by rolling the chocolate back into a ball shape.
- Place the chocolate balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
- Mix cocoa powder and coconut flakes in a shallow dish for coating.
- Once set, roll each chocolate ball in the cocoa-coconut mixture until fully coated.
