- π₯ Milk β 1 cup (240ml)
- π¦ Vanilla extract β 2 teaspoons
- π° Frosting β 2 cups (for decorating)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, frost the top of one layer, place the second layer on top, and frost the top and sides of the entire cake.
- Decorate with sprinkles and serve!
