Description

A quick and easy chicken stir fry with fresh vegetables and a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
  5. Return chicken to the pan and pour the sauce over. Stir to combine.
  6. If needed, mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp water and add to thicken the sauce.
  7. Cook for 1-2 more minutes until sauce coats the ingredients.
  8. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use any vegetables you prefer.
  • For extra spice, add red pepper flakes.
