- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and brown chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the crockpot.
- Add the browned chicken thighs on top.
- Pour in chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
- For crispier skin, broil the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes after cooking.
- Substitute boneless chicken thighs if preferred.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
