Description
A fun and delicious meal that combines the crunch of Doritos with fresh vegetables and seasoned beef.
Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 lb
- Taco seasoning: 1 package
- Iceberg lettuce: 1 head, chopped
- Cherry tomatoes: 1 cup, halved
- Bell pepper: 1, diced
- Small red onion: 1, finely chopped
- Black beans: 1 can (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- Shredded cheddar cheese: 1 cup
- Doritos: 1 bag (9.75 oz), any flavor
- Salsa: 1 cup
- Sour cream: 1 cup
- Optional garnishes: Sliced black olives, jalapeños, cilantro
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the cooked beef and stir well. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Chop the iceberg lettuce and place it in a large mixing bowl. Prepare the cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, and red onion.
- Add the prepared vegetables to the mixing bowl and toss gently to combine.
- Add the seasoned beef to the bowl and mix until evenly distributed.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Crush the Doritos and sprinkle them over the top of the salad.
- Drizzle salsa and sour cream over the salad and add any optional garnishes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

- For best crunch, add Doritos just before serving.
- Customize toppings based on personal preference.
