Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 23 tbsp water (as needed)
  • 4 medium carrots, cut into sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and cumin in a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed for desired consistency.
  3. Transfer hummus to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
  4. Wash and peel carrots, then cut them into sticks.
  5. Serve hummus with carrot sticks on the side.

Notes

  • Store hummus in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
