Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black salt (kala namak)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped vegetables (optional)

Instructions

  1. Press tofu to remove excess water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Crumble tofu into the pan.
  4. Add turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, and black salt.
  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add chopped vegetables if desired.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm.
