Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the fish into strips.
  2. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip fish strips in beaten egg and milk mixture, then coat with flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Combine mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a bowl to make salsa.
  6. Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing fish in tortillas and topping with mango salsa.
