Description

Tender chicken thighs cooked in a rich garlic-butter sauce served with creamy mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (for mashed potatoes)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken thighs and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Boil potatoes until tender, then drain and mash with milk and butter.
  5. Serve chicken thighs with mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • Use bone-in thighs for extra flavor.
  • Adjust garlic to taste.
  • Add parsley for garnish if desired.
