Description
A delightful fusion of tender steak bites, rich garlic butter, and creamy, spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce served with fettuccine pasta.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) steak bites, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons (60 g) of butter
- 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil for cooking
- 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the steak by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream to the skillet, stir to combine, and let it simmer before adding grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Cook fettuccine pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, then drain, reserving some pasta water.
- Combine the cooked steak bites and fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more Cajun seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes.
- For a different protein, substitute steak with chicken or shrimp.
- Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
- Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
