Description

A delightful fusion of tender steak bites, rich garlic butter, and creamy, spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce served with fettuccine pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) steak bites, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons (60 g) of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil for cooking
  • 8 oz (225 g) fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream to the skillet, stir to combine, and let it simmer before adding grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Cook fettuccine pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente, then drain, reserving some pasta water.
  6. Combine the cooked steak bites and fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more Cajun seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • For a different protein, substitute steak with chicken or shrimp.
  • Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
  • Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
