Ingredients

- 2 (8 oz) ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture firmly onto both sides of each steak.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and cook for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
