Description

Grilled shrimp skewers with garlic lemon butter are a quick and flavorful dish perfect for summer cookouts. The shrimp are marinated in a garlicky lemon butter sauce and grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Thread shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Brush shrimp with the garlic lemon butter mixture.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  7. Remove from grill and garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately with extra garlic lemon butter for dipping.
