Ingredients

  • Chicken Breasts: 4 pieces (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
  • Honey: 1/3 cup (about 113 g)
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Soy Sauce: 1/4 cup (about 60 ml)
  • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons (about 30 ml)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
  • Fresh Herbs: (such as parsley or cilantro) – optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by combining honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Marinate the chicken by placing it in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pouring the marinade over it. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Bake the marinated chicken in a baking dish for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. While baking, heat the reserved marinade in a saucepan until it thickens slightly.
  6. Brush the thickened marinade over the chicken and return it to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
