Ingredients

- Honey: 1/3 cup (about 113 g)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Soy Sauce: 1/4 cup (about 60 ml)
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons (about 30 ml)
- Salt: to taste
- Pepper: to taste
- Fresh Herbs: (such as parsley or cilantro) – optional
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by combining honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Marinate the chicken by placing it in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pouring the marinade over it. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the marinated chicken in a baking dish for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While baking, heat the reserved marinade in a saucepan until it thickens slightly.
- Brush the thickened marinade over the chicken and return it to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken after letting it rest for a few minutes, garnished with fresh herbs.
