Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine the vegetable oil, eggs, crushed pineapple, and mashed bananas, stirring until well blended.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined, then fold in the chopped pecans.
- Divide the batter evenly among the three prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
- While the cakes cool, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the softened cream cheese, then gradually adding the sifted powdered sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Once the cakes are completely cooled, assemble by layering the cakes with cream cheese frosting in between each layer.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting and garnish with additional chopped pecans.
