- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half-slice of bacon.
- Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking.
- Adjust spice level by keeping or removing jalapeño seeds.
